Don Levett
executive director, Non Paribas; author, It Took Another Riot

Don Levett is executive editor of Non Paribus, a new site devoted to exploring the major policy challenges facing Western governments in the modern world.

In 2014 he ran the first major conference on the potential commercial impacts of Brexit, featured by Matthew Parris in The Times, and in 2012 authored It Took Another Riot, a report on the regeneration of Tottenham after the riots, alongside a panel of urban experts including developer Sir Stuart Lipton, LSE Professor Tony Travers, and criminologist Roger Graef, amongst others.

He works with a variety of early-stage businesses on their strategy, and is an angel investor in Synthace, a London-based bioinformatics company developing an operating system for the more efficient design and execution of biological experiments.

He is also a freelance writer, and has published on housing policy in the Evening Standard and the Independent.

He read anthropology at University College London, and attended Winchester College. He has lived in Istanbul, New York, Montreal, Sydney, Auckland and Kathmandu, and currently resides in London.
