Inês Soares was born and is based in Porto. She graduated in 2015 from the Porto’s Faculty of Fine Arts.
Although Inês has worked as a freelance photographer since 2013, her artistic practice focuses essentially on drawing and performance art. She has exhibited in venues like Maus Hábitos (Performance included in the curatorial project CAC - Cinema, Art and Culture, by Martina Tzvetan), CACE Cultural, Casa da Cultura Barbot or Júlio Resende’s Foundation, among others. She also works part-time at the Serralves’ Museum of Contemporary Art in the Education Department.
At the moment she is taking a break from displaying her works, but is still producing. You can stop by BOA - Bombarda Oficinas de Artes, in Porto and visit her workplace.
