Dr Adam Wilkins

Adam recieved his PhD in Genetics from the University of Washington, Seattle, WA in 1969. He is an evolutionary biologist and was editor of the journal BioEssays for nearly 20 years.

He is currently senior editor of GENETICS. He has written and published several books and his current one on the evolution of the human face is due to be published in January 2017. He also does some freelance teaching in the form of workshops on scientific writing (how to do it) and good scientific practice.

Adam is also a visiting scientist at the Institute of Theoretical Biology, Humboldt University.
