Jonny Ensall
freelance writer and editor; contributor to NME; former music editor, Time Out

Jonny Ensall is a writer on arts and culture who was formerly deputy editor at Time Out London, and now contributes to publications including NME, The Evening Standard and The Guardian. He started his career at the music magazine, Clash, before going on to edit Scottish entertainment title, The List. He was music editor at Time Out, and has interviewed hundreds of bands and musicians. He’s currently working on the pilot for a radio documentary series, which he will present.

Jonny writes originally on topics from Nandos to art, festivals to tube etiquette.

At weekends you can often catch him DJ-ing at a disco night somewhere in east London.
