As well as being a librarian and teacher, Lucy also runs an online teen magazine, Whatever After.Lucy Ivison is the co-author of bestselling book ‘Lobsters, A socially awkward love story’, nominated for the 2015 YA book prize. Lobsters is unashamedly frank in its portrayal of teen sex and relationships. In her role as a school librarian Lucy is a passionate anti-censorship campaigner. She is interested in the complex relationship between how young people are portrayed in the media and how they see themselves. Lucy is currently co-writing a book about university Freshers that looks at the unique pressures facing students today.
