He performed his one-man show How To Be A Nicer Type Of Person at the Edinburgh Fringe and at the Soho Theatre, London in 2015. His latest BBC documentary, Peter York’s Hipsters Handbook, will be shown on BBC4 in October 2016.  He is also working on a book about British iconography.
