Jon Holbrook is a barrister and regular contributor to spiked on a variety of legal and political issues. He is a lawyer who argues for fewer laws and lawyers and for more politics. He has written on the moral bankruptcy of refugee law  and argued for the Asylum Convention to be torn up. In 2014 Jon was shortlisted for the journalism award, by the legal publisher Halsbury, mainly for his articles in spiked.
