The Science and Technology Facilities Council supports the Battle of Ideas as it is an ideal way to engage with a broad range of people and provides a unique and valuable opportunity for us to debate relevant issues and listen to diverse views. The one thing which can always be guaranteed is that everyone who takes an interest in the Battle of Ideas is very well informed and enthusiastic. The event allows well established ideas and beliefs to be challenged in a positive and constructive way – a feature which makes it distinctive.
