![]() | David Gurnham is an Associate Professor in Law at the University of Southampton, where he teaches Criminal Law and Violence and Sex in Law, Literature & Culture. His research and teaching interests lie in interdisciplinary and critical approaches to criminal law’s intersections with health, sexuality and language, and he analyses legal texts alongside literature, film and popular culture. David has recently published the book Crime, Desire and Law’s Unconscious (routledge, 2014) and in his latest writing and current project, he questions the idea that culture is dominated by sexist stereotypes, rape myth acceptance and victim-blame. |
