Professor Keith Pilbeam
professor of international economics and finance

Keith Pilbeam is a Professor at City, University of London and the Cass Business School in London. He teaches on the international programme of Boston University and has been a visiting Professor at the European University Institute in Florence.

He has worked for NatWest Bank and the Royal Bank of Scotland and consults for a number of city financial institutions. He is President of the International Economics and Finance Society, and also Secretary General to the European Economics and Finance Society. He is co-editor of the Journal of Economic Asymmetries (Elsevier) and on the editorial board of the International Journal of Monetary Economics and Finance and also the International Journal of Financial Services Management

His research interests lie the field of International Economics and Finance and he has published widely in well known Economics and Finance Journals such as Oxford Economics Papers, the Journal of Banking and Finance, the Annals of Finance, and the International Journal of Economics and Finance. He is author of three well known books; Exchange Rate Management Theory and Evidence, International Finance and Finance and Financial Markets all with Palgrave Macmillan.

He also runs the highly rated website www.BusinessEconomics.com, and is the Director of the MSc International Business Economics programme at City.
