Professor Stuart Murray

Professor Stuart Murray works in the School of English at the University of Leeds. The author or editor of some six books, his latest research centres upon the representation of disability in literature, film and other contemporary media. The father of two sons on the autistic spectrum, he has a particular interest in the ways in which autism is depicted in narrative. He has spoken about autism on the BBC and at the National Autistic Society annual conference, as well as internationally at a number of research seminars.
