Tim Smart

Tim Smart is the Chief Executive of one of London’s largest hospitals. He is the first person to transfer directly from the private sector (where he has worked for BT and Shell) to such a position. He has been involved with the Academy of Ideas for three years, and he is a Trustee of a charity called V which is about the creation of volunteering opportunities for young people. He feels passionately about equality of opportunity.
