Jeremy Musson is a writer and journalist and broadcaster; architectural editor Country Life magazine 1998-2007, writing on all periods of architecture; NT assistant regional curator 1992-1995, where he curated country houses, a regency theatre, a tithe barn and a 20th century military site, Orford Ness. Jeremy had also been a Victorian Society Architectural Adviser, 1990-1992 dealing with threatened buildings.

He is the author of 10 books including English Ruins, English Country House Interiors, The English Manor House; and Up and Down Stairs, Jeremy has also been a trustee for the Pevsner Architectural Guide Trust, 2007-2011, a member of the Council for the Care of Churches, and chairman of the Churches Conservation Trust Peer Review Panel, and is currently a member of the Ely Cathedral Fabric Advisory Committee. Since 2008, he has been the hon tutor to the Plunket Scholars of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings.

He also co-wrote and presented the BBC 2 tv series The Curious House Guest screened in 2005-2007, and presented a series on Radio 3, Brick and baroque about the architecture of the age of Purcell.

Born in London in 1965, he lives in Cambridge with wife and two daughters and enjoys looking at fine buildings from the back of a bicycle.
