Lyndsey Winship

Lyndsey Winship is a writer, editor, web editor and video producer working in the fields of arts and education.

She studied 20th Century Music at Sussex University and went on to work as a freelance journalist contributing to the Guardian, Independent, Daily Telegraph, The Stage, Metro and numerous magazines and websites including Dance Now, Dance Theatre Journal and londondance.com. She also contributed to the Rough Guide to Choreography.

Lyndsey has edited websites for various Endemol TV programmes and for music education campaign the Music Manifesto. In television, she worked on The Culture Show and The Edinburgh Show for BBC2.

Lyndsey is now Dance Editor at Time Out London.

She is a recipient of the Chris de Marigny Dance Writers Award, a member of the Critics Circle (Dance Section) and in 2008 was invited to be part of the jury for the inaugural Priz Jardin D’Europe, a choreography prize held at Vienna’s ImPulsTanz festival.
