Professor Sir Simon Wessely

Simon Wessely is president of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, and chair of Psychological Medicine at King’s College London. His main research interests are the boundaries between medicine and psychiatry, military health, unexplained symptoms and syndromes, clinical trials and epidemiology. He spends most of his time however drinking coffee and arguing.

He was awarded a knighthood for services to military healthcare and psychological medicine in the new year honours list 2013.
