Alexander Linklater

Alexander Linklater is a writer and editor. He has been the literary editor for the Glasgow Herald, deputy arts editor for the Evening Standard, deputy editor of Prospect magazine, a NESTA fellow, columnist for the Guardian and books reviewer for the Observer. He founded the BBC National Short Story Award in 2005 and has edited ten volumes of essays for the Ax:son Johnson Foundation in Sweden, where he was formerly British editor of Axess magazine.

Alexander is also a member of the Maudsley Philosophy group, currently adapting a series of psychiatric case histories, and a renewable energy developer in the Scottish highlands.
