Chris Sharp

Chris Sharp is Contemporary Music Programmer at the Barbican Centre in London.

He spent the first part of his career at independent labels Rough Trade, Beggars Banquet and XL Recordings before becoming Managing Director of 4AD.

Since moving to the Barbican in 2008, he has programmed hundreds of concerts and events - like the rest of the Barbican’s output, the Contemporary Music programme specialises in curating and presenting distinctive, ambitious and high quality musical experiences.
