Jason Lee is a novelist, critic and academic, and the author/editor of fifteen books with work translated into ten languages. He is an international authority on transgressive culture and editor of the journal and book series Transgressive Culture. His latest critical work is published by Bloomsbury. His new novel Spit Roast concerns pornography, celebrity, trans-sexuality and football. His recent critical and creative work examines transgression in relation to nationalism, religion and belief; criminality; sexuality; addiction; and mental health. Jason Lee is most well-known for his academic books on child sexual abuse, culture and the media, including Pervasive Perversions – paedophilia and child sexual abuse in media culture, published by Free Association Books.
