Dr Wojtek Wojcik

Dr Wojcik is an NHS consultant psychiatrist with research interests in the overlap between physical and mental health problems, and how cultural factors relate to mental health in society. He has organised and participated in debates on motions relevant to society and mental health services, including the Maudsley Debates at the Institute of Psychiatry. He co-founded and helps run SELPh, a photography group in southeast London for people who have used mental health services. He is a member of the Public Education Editorial Board at the Royal College of Psychiatrists.


Why isn't poverty history yet?

It was an invigorating, even exhilarating experience to be part of a festival based on the conviction that disagreement is good.
