The Transport Systems Catapult (TSC) is the UK’s technology and innovation centre for Intelligent Mobility, harnessing emerging technologies to improve the movement of people and goods around the world.

Intelligent Mobility is a growing global market and we are here to increase the UK’s market share and attract investment - creating jobs and generating long-term growth.

Some of the early challenges that will be addressed through the Catapult include seamless journey systems, remote asset management and monitoring, traffic management and control systems, journey assistance systems, infrastructure integrity and security, connected vehicles, and novel economic and business models.

TSC forms part of an elite network of seven technology and innovation centres established and overseen by the UK’s innovation agency, Innovate UK. Together, they represent a £1bn public and private sector investment over the next five years.
