Amali de Alwis

Amali is a Thought Leadership manager at PwC. She has recently returned to PwC following a secondment to World Economic Forum, where she managed and launched at Davos the Forum’s project to explore the dynamics of trust in business and the role it plays in a company’s success.

She previously worked as senior brand and product research consultant. She has advised organisations ranging from global banks to multinational retailers on stakeholder management, product, brand, and digital engagement strategies.

In recent years she has mainly spent her time exploring the ins and outs of organisational trust and leadership; and due to her interest in all things digital, is fascinated by the role digital platforms can play in helping organisations communicate their values, operate better, and engage with the world they operate in.

Outside of the day job, you can find her writing about digital and branding, and supporting development programmes via her role as a mentor and advisor to leadership development programmes such as CSC Leaders and 33Fifty.
