Amanda Holloway is commissioning editor on Sinfini Music, a website which aims to draw people further into classical music whether they’re new to the genre or a seasoned music-lover. Previously she was editor of the Royal Opera House magazine and features editor of BBC Music Magazine. As a freelance music journalist she has contributed features and reviews to specialist magazines such as Gramophone, Opera and the Strad and music stories to national newspapers. Sinfini Music is the first web-based editorial site she has commissioned and edited, and she’s still getting to grips with the opportunities presented by a platform that allows instant access to hearing music, buying CDs and seeing performances as well as reading about them. |
