A London-based investigative reporter, Chris Woods is a former senior producer with the BBC’s Newsnight and Panorama, where he covered many conflicts including Iraq; Afghanistan and Israel/ Palestine – all nations which have seen heavy use of new armed drone technologies. Woods previously set up and ran the award-winning drones team at the Bureau of Investigative Journalism, and recently authored Sudden Justice: America’s secret drone wars He presently runs the Airwars project, which monitors international coalition airstrikes against Islamic State in Iraq and Syria. |
