Andrew Opie

Andrew leads the food and sustainability team at the British Retail Consortium (BRC), the trade association for UK retailers which includes all the major food retailers. He and his team cover a wide range of regulatory and policy issues including responsible sourcing and production, waste and ethical labour. Before the BRC Andrew was Head of Policy Services at the National Farmers Union and earlier as a qualified chartered surveyor ran a dairy farm estate in Wiltshire.
