Mark Boleat is chairman of the Policy and Resources Committee of the City of London Corporation, where he has been a member since 2002. He is deputy chairman of TheCityUK and the International Regulatory Strategy Group, a vice chairman of London Councils, and a member of the boards of Central London Forward, and London and Partners.

Mark is also chairman of the Housing & Finance Institute and has previously been director general of the Council of Mortgage Lenders, the Building Societies Association and the Association of British Insurers. He has also run his own consultancy business, and is the author of several books on housing finance and public policy.
