Tracey Brown

Tracey Brown has been the Managing Director of Sense About Science, a charitable trust that equips people to make sense of science and evidence, since shortly after it was established in 2002. She has a background in social research, particularly the social dynamics of risk and litigation. While based at the University of Kent, she spent four years working on the establishment of a European Commission funded regional research and academic teaching centre in Kazan, Russia. She is a Trustee of the Centre of the Cell, and a Trustee of the Responsible Nano Forum. She sits on the Outreach Committee of the Royal College of Pathologists, and in 2009 was made a Friend of the College. In 2009, she also became a Commissioner for the UK Drugs Policy Commission. She is chairman of DCA Hernhill Junior FC.
