Arnd Festerling

Arnd Festerling was born in Bremen. He studied History and German language and literature and joined the editorial staff at Frankfurter Rundschau in 1990. There he had various jobs and responsibilities before he became chief sports editor in 2007. In 2001 he received the journalist award ‘Waechterpreis der Tagespresse’. He is a soccer fan – in particular for Eintracht Frankfurt –  and also a fan of the American Football team ‘Washington Redskins’. Arnd Festerling is married and has two children.
