Toby has taught on a wide variety of further and higher education courses and has most experience of teaching sociology, film and philosophy to both teenagers and adults. He is currently undertaking a PhD with Professor Michael Young at the Institute of Education, London. This will present an analysis of knowledge structure of the new National Curriculum for England and is entitled ‘Decoding Michael Gove’s Open Source Curriculum’. Toby is also the Programme Development Secretary for the Standing Committee for the Education and Training of Teachers (SCETT). |
